November 2021 Sightings
November started with a bang as the very first morning our guides located the River pride feasting on a giraffe kill in the ridges above the Klaserie river. With the summer temperatures heating up, our favourite feline family soon decided the cool river sands below were a better way to spend the day and, one-by-one, migrated to their watery namesake. It was here, enjoying a wonderful view of the pride lying up amongst the reeds, that the Island female leopard and her cub were spotted hiding in a huge Nyala tree just 100 metres away.

July 2021 Sightings
July is traditionally considered a great month for predator sightings in South Africa. Winter coincides with the dry season here in the Lowveld, forcing animals to gather at the dwindling water sources. As the trees surrender their leaves and the grass becomes thin and sparse, it can become easier to spot the elusive leopard or sleepy lion lying up in the bush. June 2021 Sightings

May 2021 Sightings
Although the weather may have taken a predictable, wintry turn, the animals remain as unpredictable and exciting as ever.
